They successfully extubated Henry yesterday evening. He is doing really well and Drew and I both got to hold him. Uncle Jeff took a few pictures and a video to share. Drew got Henry a moose and Uncle Jeff brought Pickmin to represent Nintendo :-). Henry was crying a bit ( he is a bit raspy from his irritated throat) but stopped crying the moment he was in his daddy's arms. Henry took to the pacifier quickly which they wanted (for him to remember the sucking action) so feeding him may happen today. We are kind of in a happy place right now and will find out about the suurgery schedule (hopefully) today. We are praying for sooner so we can work on getting back to this happy place once the surgery is complete. Thank you all for your paryers and messages and support from all over.

Thank you for sharing the pictures and video. They brought tears to my eyes- what a precious baby! It is such good news that he is able to suck- the binky is so soothing for them. I pray that you get to hold him more today and try to feed him. You are constantly in my thoughts and prayers.

You are all in our prayers. This is such a trying time for everyone but God is good and Baby Henry is doing better each day, I have put him and the family on our prayer board at school.
Thinking of you all with love,
Marlene
