Emily's Band Concert

Emily had a band concert last night and I have to say they did pretty well. This is the theme to The Pirates of the Caribbean. She plays the French Horn but we had to sit too far away to get a good look at her, even with the zoom (potty training gets in the way of a lot of things). She looked beautiful and played really well.

We went up to Blacktail today so Drew could take George down the mountain a couple of times. George was a little uncertain at first but they apparently did a couple of jumps the more they went down.

Beginner Pole Vaulting???

Is this the beginning stages of Pole Vaulting or just having fun with Granddad? Regardless, we had a great week with Granddad and Grandma Karen. They got some really good time with all the kids.

This is George (&I) singing - my apologies in advance for having to hear me sing :-). The first song is "Quack, quack, quack, quack, cock-a-doodle-do", then "Head, Shoulders, knees & toes", then "Camptown Races", then "Mulberry Bush". The last three are in order from the Baby Einstein cd.

Henry is now scooting around in a sort of crawl. He is trying so hard to sit up and is pretty close to doing it on his own. We really have to start watching what is on the floor again.

Henry kept laughing so hard whenever George would come around him. I called Emily so she could come see and the next thing you knew she had George cracking up who still had Henry cracking up - so very cute and fun.



Henry had his checkup at the cardiologist on Feb the 18th. Dr. Hardy said the coarc they have been watching is now non-existent (this is great news). He said the pulmonary arteries that feed the lungs are still pretty narrow however they are both the same size so his body isn't showing favorites :-). He said there is a 50% chance or less that we may have to go to Seattle to have the pulmonary arteries dilated (a very non-invasive procedure) but right now it doesn't seem likely. We have been pushed to 3 months for our next visit. Henry is continuously proving to be a superstar :-). He is such an adorable person - sweet, happy, smiley and full of life.

George continues to train Henry in wrestling - I think Henry will be the dominant one by the age of one. George is talking up a storm and we can understand a lot more of it than we used to. He is doing a little better on the potty training but we still are not there yet. If persistence counts we are going to ace this soon. As long as the pacifier is out of site he doesn't even think about it. Sometimes he will take it from Henry just to give it right back (I suppose he is showing how nice he can be)other times he will take a drag off of it then give it back - funny stuff.

Emily is working hard in school and excited about a few "trips" coming up. She is attending a youth group weekend the first weekend in March and then going to Washington DC the first part of Spring Break.
