Snow day and reminiscing
I began looking through our blog. The blog which I have severely neglected over the past few years, mostly because of Facebook. There are so many incredible memories and moments in here that I never want to lose.
We are having our first, since Emily and I have been in Montana, snow day. Blizzard and about two feet plus of snow is what it takes to get a snow day. We have stayed inside mostly but have gotten out a couple of time to try out snow shoes that sit in the shed unused :-).
This first picture is George and a friend from school. There is a HUGE snow pile in the corner of the school parking lot which the kids love to play on after school.
Emily and I snow shoed to the mailbox and back up - it may not seem like much but if you know our driveway then you understand :-)
Our trampoline, covered.

Emily's solo for district music festival
This is the first time Emily has let me hear her sing and she was so good. She received many compliments from the adjudicator. She couldn't believe Emily was only a freshman. She said even though she didn't like when people said this to her growing up she was going to tell Emily: "you have a gift and you need to share it". I am so very proud of her. She told Doug, her voice coach, that he needs to continue to work with her to help her find the talent that is still there and untapped. She said many times how her voice at this age, along with her beauty and poise, that she is really on her way to greatness. :-)

Cheesy Fingers?
Henry decided he should share his snack with the dogs, or they decided it for him :-)

Extreme sports
As great as this play set has been, after this we have decided it is time to pass it on. It is pretty much a "monkey see - monkey do" world at our house and even though Henry learns from George he kind of takes it to the next level on everything that gives me and Drew a heart attack.

George skiing for the second time
We went back up to Blacktail and George got on the green run. He did really well. We are glad we have season passes because we can go for just a little bit and it still makes it worth it. He is getting better and better. He figured out if he falls we help him :-).

Mulate's Cajun Restaurant in New Orleans, LA
This is such a fun restaurant in New Orleans, LA. We (me, Emily & Karen Richard) went there before when Emily was 3 and my friend Martina was in New Orleans for business from Italy. Good food, live music and lots of dancing.

Pump it up - Jackson, MS
Michael and Jamie invited us to go to Pump It Up in Jackson/Flowood with them. It was so much fun. The photos didn't come out great because of the excessive amount of jumping but the videos are pretty fun. It was a great time followed by Chick-fil-a; who could ask for anything more?
Playing at the park in Jackson
I will be posting many pictures from our trip to Jackson. These are some of my favorites. We tried to go to the Children's museum on Monday but it is the only day they are closed. We went to the park next to it instead and had so much fun. The sun was a bonus to such a great day, it was nice for us to stretch our legs.

Bath time
We are down in Mississippi and I, of course forgot the camera cord. I did get a cute video of the boys in the bathtub from my phone. George was spitting the water out and Henry thought that was pretty funny.

Blacktail Mountain
We had a great time at Blacktail Mountain skiing yesterday.
Emily had her first snowboard lesson and the instructor said she was awesome. They feel confident she can begin going down the green slope with no problems - maybe a few bumps and bruises. The only video I got of her was going up the rope tow.
George had his first ski lesson and learned how to do the "pizza" - at least we know he can stop.
Henry enjoyed eating the snow but not the lack of mobility that comes with winter gear. He had a great time exploring the cafeteria and stairs and looking out the large windows for one of us to pass by (whomever wasn't on duty).

Hello Grandpa Jon!
George had a really great conversation with Grandpa Jon tonight. Of course we asked him to talk again (to record it) and he got a little goofy. He has many phone calls throughout the day and I can't seem to catch it just right. :-)
Henry decided he wanted to talk too....

Emily teaching the boys how to play the French Horn
Emily was showing off her French Horn skills and the boys wanted to learn to play too. Both are very proud of their skills (they must have gotten from her) and just can't hold back their excitement in making such cool sounds.
George and Henry in the snow
As many of you may know we have been getting an excessive amount of snow over the last week. It has finally warmed to a temperature that is bearable to stay out in for more time than it takes to get them dressed. Henry decided to stop for a snack and George couldn't let him have all of the attention...

In the pool
We had the pool resurfaced and it is finally back up to temperature. Henry was having a blast, as were George and Daddy.
I Love You - Henry's version
So again, I apologize in advance for my singing but Henry is making his debut. He kept singing this tune, it took us a while to figure out what it was but once we did....all you have to say is I love you and he breaks out in this song. The dance is new :-)
